Z&L Mounting Bracket: How to Install a Maglock on Glass Doors
Surface-mounted electromagnetic locks don’t fit directly on glass doors or narrow frames. The SK-ZL180 Z&L mounting bracket solves that — it adapts your 180kg maglock to glass doors, narrow aluminum frames and doors where direct mounting isn’t possible.

What Is a Z&L Bracket Set
A Z&L bracket set includes three pieces: the L-bracket that mounts the lock body, the Z-bracket that connects to the door frame, and the mounting plate. Together they bridge the gap between the lock and the door — letting you install a surface-mounted maglock on doors that can’t accept direct drilling.

Why You Need It for Glass Doors
Glass doors can’t be drilled directly for a maglock — the glass would crack. The Z-bracket mounts to the aluminum frame around the glass, and the L-bracket holds the lock body in the right position. The result: a clean, secure installation on 10-15mm thick glass doors without touching the glass itself.

Precision-Machined for a Perfect Fit
The SK-ZL180 is precision-machined from magnesium-aluminum alloy with a sandblasted silver finish. Pre-drilled holes match the 180kg maglock exactly, so installation is fast and secure. The anti-rust finish holds up indoors and in covered outdoor entrances.
