What Is a TTLock WiFi Gateway and Why Do You Need One
A Bluetooth smart lock alone only works when you are within a few meters of it. If you want to unlock your door from another city, share a temporary access code while you are away, or check who opened the door from your phone — you need a WiFi gateway. The SK-G2 / SK-G3 TTLock gateway is that bridge between your Bluetooth lock and the internet.

G2 vs G3: Which Gateway Do You Need
We supply two gateway models for different needs:
- SK-G2 (G2) – a compact USB-powered dongle. Plug it into any USB charger or port near your router. Best for homes, small offices and Airbnb rentals where you just need remote unlock.
- SK-G3 (G3) – a wired gateway with Ethernet (RJ45) and Type-C power. More stable than USB, suitable for commercial projects, hotels and multi-door systems where reliability matters.

How the TTLock Gateway Works
The gateway connects to your WiFi router on 2.4G, and communicates with your TTLock smart locks via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) within 10–15 meters. When you tap “unlock” in the TTLock App from anywhere in the world, the command travels over the internet to the gateway, which relays it to your lock over BLE.

What You Can Do With a Gateway
- Remote unlock – open the door for a delivery person or cleaner from anywhere.
- E-key sharing – send permanent or time-limited e-keys to family, tenants or staff.
- Access logs – see who opened the door and when, stored in the cloud.
- Multiple locks – one gateway can control multiple TTLock locks within range.
- Voice control – works with Alexa and Google Home for voice commands.
