Why RFID Cards Still Make Sense for Door Access
Fingerprints and phones get a lot of attention, but RFID cards remain the most practical credential for gates, offices and buildings: they are cheap to issue, easy to revoke and work in any weather. The SK-XK2BLE RFID card access controller adds a metal keypad and app management to card entry in one IP66 outdoor unit.

The Benefits of Card-Based Access Control
- Instant issuance – program a card in seconds, no fingerprint enrollment needed.
- Easy revocation – delete a lost card from the app instead of rekeying the door.
- Durable credentials – cards survive rain, dust and rough handling.
- Familiar to users – tap-to-open works for every age group.
Built for Outdoor Doors
The SK-XK2BLE carries an IP66 rating with a zinc alloy housing, so it stands up to rain, dust and direct sun at gates and entrances. It reads 13.56MHz M1 / MF IC cards and works with NFC-compatible credentials, holding up to 1000 cards with unlimited dynamic passwords.

Manage Cards and Codes from the TTLock App
Through the TTLock app (Bluetooth or Bluetooth+WiFi), you can send E-keys, check opening logs and manage users without touching the device. The app also generates several types of temporary passwords:
- One-time password – for a single visit such as a house inspection.
- Temporary password – unlimited openings within a time window.
- Recurring password – repeats on a schedule, e.g. a weekly cleaner.
- Permanent password – until the administrator deletes it.

Where to Use It
- Villa and community gates – cards for residents, app codes for guests.
- Office and studio doors – revoke access instantly when staff change.
- Warehouse and storage areas – durable metal unit for heavy traffic.
- Rental properties – temporary codes for each guest, no key handover.
